SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Import two videos on separate tracks on top of one another 2. Use the transform effect on the top video track to change its coordinates, move it to some other area of the screen, like the top-right corner 3. Use the slide transition at the beginning of the track so the top video slides in, partially covering the bottom video 4. Note that at the end of its slide the video jumps which is very jarring. The effect is most obvious when the video slides in from the top to the centre. OBSERVED RESULT The top video track jumps at the end of the effect, which is jarring. EXPECTED RESULT The transition should be smooth with no jumping SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Kdenlive: 21.12.2 MLT: 7.5.0 Qt: 5.14.2 (built against 5.14.2 x86_64-little_endian-lp64) Frameworks: 5.81.0 System: Linux Mint 20.1 Kernel: linux 5.4.0-100-generic CPU: x86_64 Windowing System: xcb Movit (GPU): disabled Track Compositing: frei0r.cairoblend ADDITIONAL INFORMATION It's worth noting that this bug was not present in the previous version of kdenlive that I used. That being the appimage for 20.12.0
I too can confirm I'm experiencing this when compositing SVG/PNG's above a video and using the Transform effect to position them. Then when using the Slide compositor/transition they "jump" in location before siding smoothly off screen.
