***

When adding text to a file, and transforming it, as well as using the move tool, if the file is then saved as a template, in new files created by the template, the text won't be aligned properly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new file
2. Create multiple text vector layers
3. Use the move tool on them,
4. Use the transform tool.
5. Create a template from the file.
6. Create a new image using the template.
7. The new image should have mis-aligned text

OBSERVED RESULT
The text from the original file used for the template will be different than in files created FROM the template.

EXPECTED RESULT
The template should look the exact same, and all text should be in the same position.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows 10

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I did overwrite the template multiple times, but I believe the issue existed before overwriting the template.

Also, to note, as it may be important, I'm using a custom font, based on my handwriting, created from a free site. Thanks.

Could you also attach the template and the font?

Here is a google drive link to a folder:

I have the original file used to make the template, the template file, and the font.

I notice the template file is a lot smaller, so I'm assuming it doesn't save all of the info from the original file?
Thanks for checking this out.

Thanks for your comment!

Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team

In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.

Hi,

Thanks for the files. I haven't been able to reproduce the issue yet, though. I've tried both on Windows and on Linux.

I've made a completely new file, to create a new template. (I was already going to, to make smaller gutters)
I only used the transform tool on the text this time, not the move tool.

Again, I'm running into the same issue.

I've attached the new template, new source file, and a screenshot of what it looks like for me, when I create a new file using the template.

The font is the same as before.

This template was based on an older template, which I've also included. It's not as though some issue could be "inherited" from a previous template, or anything?

If not reproducible on your end, would there be any weird Krita settings causing this to happen on my end?

To continue to beat a dead bug...
I've been able to create suitable templates, where the text does not become mis-aligned, by ONLY using the "select shapes" tool to move the text.

If it is still worth it to pursue the reason for this bug, it might have to do with the difference between moving text using "select shapes" and moving text using the "transform" or "move tool."

I have a work-around for myself, though, so my comic templates will work on the current version of Krita.
