Hi. As someone currently using a tiling script I'm constantly resizing windows, however this can look somewhat weird at times, where some applications try to update their contents as its being scaled, but often do so too slowly and result in the scaling appearing sluggish (for example, resizing a browser window).

A possible workaround would be to use the fast texture scaling (which I cant find in the settings anymore for some reason. I could've sworn it was there somewhere before) while also blurring the window as its being resized. An example of this is how Samsung's One UI handles scaling (https://youtu.be/uOVJocA_39w?t=61)

All crossfades effects (which effectively is what's being requested here, only with a blur) are currently missing.

With a tiling WM some of that goes away, but not all

Ah that's unfortunate. Are there any plans to bring back the crossfade effects, or will they be gone for a while?

Sounds like this is a "behaves as expected" thing at this point, I'm afraid.
