Hello,
thanks for reporting this issue.
I can confirm this regression in 5.24.2

Regards
Comment 2 Michail Vourlakos 2022-02-27 11:35:02 UTC
are you using proprietary drivers?
Comment 3 galder 2022-02-27 11:40:27 UTC

no surprise then

I didn't use Wayland much because some of applications that I need for work are not working properly in the Wayland yet.
So cant confirm if this is a regression in current 5.24.2

why should be a problem?

because nvidia proprietary only recentrly started providing wayland/gbm support and final pieces for it in Plasma/KWin/Qt are not ready yet.

I currently use 5.24.0 it works with no issues.
Comment 9 galder 2022-02-27 15:22:15 UTC
Maybe is a regression in 5.24.2.
Lets see if someone else confirms the issue.
Comment 10 galder 2022-02-27 19:54:06 UTC
I compiled current master 5.24.80.
It looks like latte works fine. Hopefully this issue should
be fixed in the next patch.

I am experiencing the same behavior, however only with one of my nvidia GPUs:

System 1 (laptop):
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 980M
Wayland: 5.24.2
Nvidia Driver: 510.54
Latte-Dock: 0.10.8
LATTE-DOCK STATUS: WORKING

System 2 (desktop):
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070
Wayland: 5.24.2
Nvidia Driver: 510.54
Latte-Dock: 0.10.8
LATTE-DOCK STATUS: NOT WORKING

I am a bit new to using KDE on such a granular level. Is there a "normal-ish" timeline for patches?

Hello,
I tested in plasma 5.24.3 and more or less is working but however still I see that it has issues to detect properly the Wayland screens names and the primary screen.

I'm facing this on 5.27, with Wayland, NVIDIA proprietary drivers (525).
