Description Nate Graham 2022-02-25 17:15:27 UTC
I am working on packaging Skanlite for Flathub, and I'm running into the following issue with the 21.12.2 version:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Scan an image
2. Click "Save"
3. In the file dialog, navigate to some location, type a filename, and click on the "Save" button

OBSERVED RESULT
The file dialogs closes, and the app hangs. No file is written to the specified location. Nothing interested is printed to the console log, unfortunately.

EXPECTED RESULT
The file is saved.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Does not affect the non-Flatpak version.

You can see my draft Flatpak manifest here: https://github.com/Pointedstick/flathub/blob/skanlite/org.kde.skanlite.json

I fail to reproduce this. Where do you navigate to exactly?
Comment 2 Nate Graham 2022-03-28 15:56:30 UTC
Any location. Literally anywhere.

Are you testing with my Flatpak manifest, or a different one?

With yours, yes.

And this only happens with skanlite or also okular, filelight etc?
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2022-03-29 23:15:36 UTC
Yes it happens with Flatpak'd Okular too. So I guess this is an old portal or dev environment issue.

Out of curiosity, can you also not reproduce Bug 450832?
