SUMMARY When you have a KDE Plasma Wayland session going and you open a file through Ark the opened file is shown in a small window in the corner. This only happens for the first time you follow these steps. Subsequent files are opened with the size you just set. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start Plasma Wayland session 2. Open an archived file 3. Open a file within the archived file (through Ark) OBSERVED RESULT The file that you opened is opened in a tiny window in the corner of the screen, that you have to resize in order for you to be able to see the contents of that file. EXPECTED RESULT "Standard" size window that allows you to see the contents of the file without having to resize the window. Created attachment 179361 [details] Tiny preview Still a problem in Ark 24.12.1, KF 6.11.0, Qt 6.7.2, but it only appears when the main window is not maximized. If the main window is maximized, then the child window is also maximized. Best regards, Andrej
