Description Aaron J. Seigo 2022-02-23 09:20:11 UTC
SUMMARY
***
When one selects to refresh a calendar or all calendars, there is no visible user feedback. It is not possible to tell if anything at all has occurred, or how long it is taking, as a result. A small indicator next to each updating calendar in the list would be fantastic.

Open question: Whether this should be shown on even automatically scheduled updates (personally: no) or only during user triggered refreshes (IMHO: yes).
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kalendar with some online calendars showing
2. Start a refresh on all or some calendars

OBSERVED RESULT

No feedback as to progress is visible.

EXPECTED RESULT

A progress indicator next to each updating calendar that spins until it is refreshed.

Hi Aaron, thanks for your suggestion!

Calendars in the sidebar now show an indicator when they are updating -- specifically, the toggle-able calendar sources. This should make it clear something is happening when you refresh a calendar source or a calendar.
