STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  go to Light Table
2.Go to Presentation
3. Go to Caption
4. attemp to modify the sample text : This is a comment sample... See figure

OBSERVED RESULT
Not possible to edit the sample text

EXPECTED RESULT
New text

I am able to change the font color and background color but not the  text.

fix no language code is set in the light table
QComboBox::findText() hasn't worked in the constructor for a while.

By the way, I found and fixed another problem with the description bar. Your problem is none. You have to activate the checkbox with "Print caption" on the first tab to write a caption.

Ok, it might be a little confusing, but it's just a preview of what the caption would look like. The caption must be present in the images to be displayed.

Hi Maik,
Thank you for your fast response. I did  a test and wrote text in a photo
and then I executed the presentation . As a result, I  found that the text
was not aligned with  Caption background.  Could this be a suggestion in the
next version release that the caption page be also used  to add or modify
text ?


I have another question. Is there a Forum for DigiKam users to ask questions
on the DigiKam functionalities ?

Ok I now understand that the caption text must be entered in a separate window dedicated for Captions.
