Description Lee Rogers 2022-02-21 18:05:50 UTC
SUMMARY
***
Mouse left handed mode reverts to right handed after reconnecting wireless mouse to charging cable/wired connection.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open `System Settings>Input Devices>Mouse
2. Tick the checkbox for `Left handed mode`
3. Click Apply
4. Check that the primary and secondary mouse buttons are inverted for left hand use.
5. Connect wireless mouse to charging/wired cable.
6. Check that the primary and secondary mouse buttons remain inverted for left hand use.

OBSERVED RESULT
The left-handed mode reverts back to right handed configuration after reconnecting the mouse via cable despite the checkbox for `Left handed mode` being enabled in System Settings>Input Devices>Mouse.

EXPECTED RESULT
Left handed mode should remain as the configuration when reconnecting wireless mouse/pointer devices.

macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.1
