Description jimbo 2022-02-17 00:23:21 UTC
I've noticed that the 'Open Recent' function only applies to the specific instance that is currently running. If I have two instances running and open/close a bunch of text files with them the 'Open Recent' list will be different between the two instances. I kinda expected that the list would be the same across all instances. I'd like the option to have the list be the same across all instances. Thanks.

That config it per session and I think that makes sense.
I don't think making that one menu global is that useful and extra effort.

Agreed, changing it now will annoy a lot of people
Comment 3 Christoph Cullmann 2023-02-26 21:30:28 UTC
And adding an extra option is IMHO overkill, sorry.

I disagree that having recent files specific to the instance makes sense, I would say it's counter-intuitive. However, it's probably too specific a feature for the amount of work required.
