Description Jason Straight 2022-02-16 14:49:19 UTC
Much like other device settings are remembered by a device identifier, or UUID, it would be nice if, when switching mouse devices, the settings were remembered and applied when plugging a device in. So if you have a laptop and use different mouse devices at work and home, and yet another portable one, the profile (especially acceleration) could be applied for the right device.

This is implemented in the Libinput version of the Mouse page, and the old Evdev version is no longer supported, so it's effectively fixed now.
