Feature request: team work
***
Hi!
I have been using Krita for quite a while. It’s the best drawing program around in my opinion. My friend recently started working with Krita and I wanted to teach him all about it. He’s also new to digital art and I wan’t to help him as much as I can. So while helping him via quick assist(microsoft screen sharing app), I thought if only there would be a live collaboration feature.

So basically the concept is that you could be able to draw live with someone else. You both can work on your own and also just watch ur mate draw. I think that this would be useful for collaborations. Me and my friend want to make collaborations. Sending the document back and forth takes time. I found a online site which does what I want, but the drawing capability ain’t that good. It would just be nice if Krita had this. Check it out: aggie.io

This is just an idea🤷‍♂️ No forcing or so. But it would be REALLY nice if this was possible.

Thanks for your time!

With kind regards,
FusedFart/Artendary

Well... Dear Harjas, a collaborative editing feature is something we've been discusssing, and speccing out, but it is INCREDIBLY complicated. Not even Drawpile has solved all the issues with, for instance, undo and redo. It just isn't something you can wish for in a bug tracker. It needs dedicated people who want this and need this and can code this -- and until we find those people, it's going to be something we might do one day, but not right away.

Best way is to talk about them on krita-artists.org forum, in the Feature Requests subforum: https://krita-artists.org/c/develop/feature-requests/17
Make sure to read our manual how to approach writing feature requests so there is the highest chance your idea will be implemented: https://docs.krita.org/en/untranslatable_pages/new_features.html
