This bug is part of an ongoing effort to rethink the options available in System Settings. The end goal is to consolidate some obscure options to make Plasma feel simpler to use and improve the user experience. I was advised to make individual bug reports with my suggestions. The Energy Saving KCM could also contain a shortcut to it to improve discoverability even more. That's a good idea.
For Plasma 6, Nicolas Fella whittled down the set of power-related activity settings to just two settings that are both relevant to users and maintainable with reasonable effort. These were moved to the Activities KCM in https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/-/commit/fa6fa2c55d77c862cdd0fb629efa98120bde4b56 and the "Activity Power Settings" KCM in the power management / energy saving category was removed. Leaving this bug open for now because the other suggestion is not yet implemented (but easy to add): > The Energy Saving KCM could also contain a shortcut to it to improve discoverability even more.
