Description imax 2022-02-14 16:06:35 UTC
SUMMARY
I'm using the new Kalendar app. After configuring the digital clock applet and trying to add a new event, KOrganizer opens instead of Kalendar.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Kalendar
2. Configure Digital Clock (Adding PIM module)
3. Click "+ Add ..." button

OBSERVED RESULT
KOrganizer opens.

EXPECTED RESULT
Kalendar opens.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
openSUSE Tumbleweed
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Maybe add a setting to choose which application should open.
Comment 1 Nicolas Fella 2022-02-15 15:36:44 UTC
In the "File association" settings change the default app for text/calendar to Kalendar
Comment 2 Nicolas Fella 2022-02-15 21:38:27 UTC
Something we might want to do is adding a "Calendar application" entry in the default apps settings
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2022-02-15 21:59:29 UTC
No objection.

Yes, this works for me now. Thank You.

I first looked at the default app settings. In the file association settings I overlooked the right setting.
For me this Bug report can be closed.
