Description Jessica 2022-02-12 00:41:40 UTC
This is a request to make the program more user friendly when working with collection files.

We now have a "File" - > "New" and "File" - > "Open". For consistency, "File" - > "Close" should be added.

In the current version, tellico only asks if you want to save your file when closing the program.
This same question for saving the file should appear when choosing "File" - > "New" , "File" - > "Open" or "File" - > "Close", when a file is opened in tellico.
Because if this question is not asked and the user forgot to save, the changes to the file are lost.

The intent is to do as you suggest and ask to save the file, if it has been modified, when the user creates a new collection or opens a different one. It seems to work for me as I just tested it. Does it not do that for you?
