Jean-Claude,

Thanks for the suggestions.

Re a trash can: I'm ok with the user simply deleting the files from the directory using standard operating system utilities (removing them from ~/.local/share/kstars/analyze on Linux).

Re splitting up analyze sessions: If it's a single night's session, and you want to split it up among targets, I'd say that this feature request is a "nice to have" but likely will never reach the point where I will get to it--of course I wouldn't stop some other contributor who wanted to get involved from addressing it, e.g. you ;) One can work around the issue pretty easily by zooming in to the right job.

There is another use case in the near future though. What if one has an observatory that stays online for a long time, running just one KStars instance for months? I think that would be an interesting case. One would have issues with a very long Analyze log (and a very long KStars log too). If I had such an observatory, then I'd probably address it. Again, though, I think this is a feature that only a few folks would need and that needs a motivated developer.

Hello Hy,
These were just suggestions (That's the only thing I can possibly do because my ability to develop belongs to another life)
I hope I didn't hurt you and if so, please accept my apology .
Have a nice day.

Jean-Claude, Of course, no problem making the suggestions. Appreciate any/all of them. Please continue to do so.

Hello Hy,
Because you like suggestions, I made other suggestions which received no reply.
See that link (https://www.indilib.org/forum/wish-list/11331-a-wish-concerning-analyse-plots.html) :

I have two wishes concerning the Analyze plots (Hello Hy, do you hear me ?)
In a normal photo session, we create a folder where the lights, darks, bias and flats will be stored for later processing.
However the Analyze graph of this session will be placed in Library / Application Support / kstars / analyse.
Nice, but when we later want to check back our session , this particular .analyze file is not easy to find.
1/ My first wish is that the .analyse file would be also stored in the session folder along with the lights, darks, bias and flats
2/ Being a Mac user, double-click on a file opens automatically the app. My second wish is that a simple double-click on an .analyze file opens it directly in KStars.
Best regards,

These are only wished features to be added to an already beautiful Analyse panel ....
Have a nice day
