STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Settings and unmark "save to file or folder"
2. Maybe enter a custom location 
3. Take a screenshot
4. Look into the folder

OBSERVED RESULT
It saves every screenshot to my custom folder, even though I chose not to

EXPECTED RESULT
It should only save when chosen

I can reproduce this too. Ubuntu (Kubuntu) 23.04.

I can’t be sure but I think I only started having this problem after I manually clicked “Save as” one time.

I forgot to add that I am only having this problem when I invoke Spectacle via keyboard shortcut when it is closed.

I do not have this problem when I open Spectacle manually.
