Created attachment 146280 [details] top: result of pasting the selection into discord on firefox bottom: actual image data selected SUMMARY something about how krita copies selection is, for the lack of a better word, broken; i cannot paste selections i copied into gimp. in addition, when pasting selections i copied/copy-merged from krita, into discord, while on firefox, the image which i pasted comes out mangled; a black line of pixels on the top of the image, and a few columns of pixels are wrapped from the left side of the image to the right STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. select a part of an image 2. copy it 3a. attempt pasting into gimp 3b. attempt pasting into discord on firefox OBSERVED RESULT gimp does not recognize any image data being on the clipboard. on firefox the pasted image has a black pixel line on top, and pixels from the left wrapped to the right
I cannot reproduce this on Linux or Windows 10 with Krita 5.02 and Gimp 2.10. I don't use discord, so I cannot test that. Pasting in Photopea in Firefox worked fine. What is the channel depth and color model of your image?

Hi yuvalabc, I'm not able to reproduce this bug either on Krita 5.0.2 or 5.2.6. Can you confirm if this bug still occurs on latest Krita stable version (5.2.6 at time of this comment)? I tried copying from Krita to gimp, discord desktop, and discord on firefox and all didn't have this issue. If you can are you on Windows are you on windows 10 or 11? Can you copy selection from Gimp into Krita, discord, or photopea?
