Demo of a watermark / Photologo

Good Morning

I know, that with the "batch" I can add a watermark to pictures.

It would be a great thing, if the user can add a single watermark to a single photo and placea and scale it, where he wants.

Idea: In the "tools" area.

Best regards, Markus

Even easier than with the BQM? You know that you can save a workflow in BQM and restore and use all tool settings with just one click?

Hi Maik

As the name says: A batch do always the same. The result is: It places the watermark always to the same place.

See Luminar or other softwares: They have on the right side in the "tools" area a signature-manager. You can pick one, place it on the photo, can scale it. Done. :-)

In BQM/Watermark tool, you can already apply a stamped image to sign photo. The aspect ratio and the place are respected to put watermark at the same place if photo sizes are not the same.

Hi Gilles

Yes, I know, it is a "way" to do this. But it's very unflexible an needs too much mouseclicks.

And a great disatvantage is: The watermark is placed. No chance to moove it a little bit right or left or resize it.

digiKam is a absolutely great tool! Has all I need. And has a great facerecognition. But watermarking .....

I can spend a (larger) amount to to team, to force this desire /request. Others too?

Best regards, Markus

Note : BQM has a new tool to run G'MIC filtrers over the images in batch. G'MIC processor is scriptable and very customizable. It include a Watermark tool :
