Created attachment 146167 [details] menu item "Show Recociled Balances" Hello KMyMoney team, It happens that at some point, from one day to the next, the menu item "View" "Show Recociled Balances" is no longer available. I manage to restore the file "/home/user/.local/share/kxmlgui5/kmymoney/kmymoneyui.rc" from a data backup. So far I haven't found any "regularity" for the disappearance. I'm using version 5.1.2 and occasionally use the current app image from KMyMoney_Release as a test. But if in 5.1.2 the menu item is there, it is also in the appimage. If this is gone, it is also in the appimage. greetings Udo SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux OpenSUSE 15.3 (Kernel 5.3.18-150300.59.43) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.6 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.76.0 Qt Version: 5.12.7 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This can happen, if you install/run the master version of KMyMoney and then switch back to 5.1 as this option is not contained (aka not needed) in KMyMoney master. Removing /home/user/.local/share/kxmlgui5/kmymoney/kmymoneyui.rc completely would have solved the problem also. In that case only local modifications are gone. This is a kxmlgui (https://api.kde.org/frameworks/kxmlgui/html/index.html) feature and works as designed.
Created attachment 146225 [details] Error Master
Hi Thomas, Thank you for the info. But I only use the appimage realese and not the master. I just tried to start the master. Termination with error (see appendix "Error Master"). Maybe something else? By the way: Restoring the "kmymoneyui.rc" is better because I have customized. regards Udo
Which appimage? Versions exist for both stable and from master. Your error seems unrelated, and master is known to not necessarily be stable. Just in case, ave you run memcheck recently? The message about not finding woob is really a warning and not an error, unless you actually do have it installed, but it still should not cause a crash.

Hi Jack, I basically only use the Release-AppImage. Exceptionally because of my message with "kmymoneyui.rc" I also tried the master once. The error with the master is not important to me, but I wanted to report the crash. greetings Udo
There have been quite a number of changes to the creation of the Appimages in the meantime. Is this still a problem with a recent version?
