Description Allexus J 2022-02-01 16:50:28 UTC
SUMMARY
It can happen that I underline something, then I continue to apply edits to my pdf, and in a second time I came back to the old underlined text and I want to undo it, but I can't because otherwise I would lose all the other edits. Also, if I open a PDF, I can't undo anything obviously, so if I close okular, that underlined and highlighted text will remain there for ever.

If you activate the "Browse" tool, can you not Right-Click => Delete ?

yeah you are right, I can. Didn't know that. A clear tool could be useful though, if I can select an entire area and then clear that area, in one action

I disagree it would be useful, but wishes are wishes everyone has them.

Formally titled:
Add a "clear" tool to remove highlighted and underlined text

Updated Title since that is a Feature Request.

Update seems to be an actual bug.

Cannot delete using "browse tool".

I still believe we could benefit from "clear" highlight - or give a quick way to right click any highlight and delete.
