SUMMARY If I log out from an X11 session (125% scale) and log in to a Wayland session (125% scale), the screen scale is always 100% even if system settings shows 125%. Not sure if it's a bug in Kwin or elsewhere. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Log out from X11 2. Log in to Wayland OBSERVED RESULT 100% scale EXPECTED RESULT 125% scale as shown in system settings SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Information for package kwin5: ------------------------------ Repository : unstable-kde-frameworks Name : kwin5 Version : 5.24.80git.20220128T144116~aebe1ab3a4-ku.11.1 Arch : x86_64 Vendor : obs://build.opensuse.org/KDE:Unstable Installed Size : 15.6 MiB Installed : Yes Status : up-to-date Source package : kwin5-5.24.80git.20220128T144116~aebe1ab3a4-ku.11.1.src Summary : KDE Window Manager

Does it have the same *connector* name too?
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #4) > Does it have the same *connector* name too? If you mean HDMI-A-0, yes. KScreen KCM reports the scale is 125% but the actual scale is 100%.
OK, then I guess it is a different issue.
Ah it's actually Bug 433460. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 433460 ***
