Created attachment 145947 [details] The picture has attachments for both Breeze Light and Dark theme and the black shade can be clearly seen. STEPS TO REPRODUCE :- 1. Go to Settings > Appearance > Application Style > Configure Breeze > Go to Transparency Tab 2. Change the "Menu" transparency from Opaque to any value. 3. Open Dolphin & click the Hamburger Menu. OBSERVED RESULT :- The Hamburger Menu's background has a black shade and the Blur and Transparency effects are not applied. But the other sub-menus of Dolphin respects the Blur and Transparency effect. EXPECTED RESULT :- The Hamburger Menu should follow both the effects like other menus does. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS :- Linux : EndeavourOS (Arch based) KDE Plasma Version : 5.23.5 KDE Frameworks Version : 5.90 Qt Version : 5.15.2
I can comfirm that I am having this issue as well. Fedora 36 Plasma version 5.25.3. Another thing I notice is that when I take the transparency under Application Style for Breeze down about halfway or more, highlighting a menu option leaves it highlighted after I hover over it.

Confirmed this on Plasma 5.27.4 as well. Just a slight difference is that the Dolphin's sidebar context menu (accessible by right-clicking any item on the sidebar) menu is opaque.
