Description Photon 2022-01-25 20:11:03 UTC
lost+found, which is a system folder, should be hidden with Control+H, just like hidden folders and files with start with a dot.
Comment 1 Nate Graham 2022-01-25 21:38:20 UTC
Indeed.
Comment 2 Photon 2022-01-26 23:31:20 UTC
oops, I mean which start with a dot*
Comment 3 Méven Car 2022-02-01 17:29:47 UTC
In my opinion this is not necessary, the / partition were /lost+found is a system view, this should be omitted.
Viewing / directory is an advanced use case, and for such power use, we should not hide things.

Implementing it even with an option will result in bug report the opposite and added maintenance for very little benefit.

But what about lost+found appearing in encrypted LUKS removable media?
