Created attachment 145927 [details] network icon SUMMARY The Network Icon shows a greyed out wired connector with a question mark on top while using bridge interfaces To give a bit of context i have multiple bridge interfaces(only bridge interfaces basically), some created for docker and others for libvirt, the option Show and configure virtual connections is enabled, disabling it only makes the bridge interfaces disappear, icon does not change If i connect to a vpn the icon does not change Tried to disable connectivity check https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NetworkManager#Checking_connectivity as a test but nothing changed This issue is not related to recent changes, all 5.23.x versions have it, but probably even before that Somewhat similar to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397352 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Used a wired bridge as primary interface 2. Connect to it OBSERVED RESULT icon is wrong EXPECTED RESULT icon shows the connected bridge properly SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
Does this also happen when using the Breeze Plasma theme and the Breeze icon theme? If so can you attach a screenshot of what it looks like in that case? Thanks!
ok now i feel stupid, no it does not happen with the breeze icon theme
Sounds like the issue is caused by a missing icon in your plasma theme or icon theme, then. :)
