New project from template, on hidpi settings, preview image is scaled and doesn't fit, and looks ugly

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open KDevelop main window
2. Select New Project from Template from the menu
3. Choose a template that has a preview image

OBSERVED RESULT
Image scaled according to hidpi setting of my desktop, but it uses nearest neighbour filter and looks ugly.
When image is large, it doesn't fit inside the preview area of the window and parts of the image cannot be seen.

EXPECTED RESULT
Image to be scaled to fit into the preview area with linear scaling filter.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.15
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.89.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I am using 4K resolution with 150% scaling set on KDE Display Settings

This bug is still exist today.
Additionally the preview image is cropped and could not be seen completely, also preview image overlaps with the text that is bottom of it, and makes it unreadable on some colors.
