Description strangequark 2022-01-22 17:30:59 UTC
SUMMARY
The ability to change individual cursors instead of having to replace the entire theme.
Most themes online are found in the per-cursor form (since it can be changed in Windows), and these themes can not be used because the import cursors in the kcm only supports importing an entire theme, not individual cursors one by one.
Windows has this in its old Control Panel Mouse settings, where you can change the individual cursors one-by-one, by using .cur and .ico files.

FEATURE REQUEST
The ability to change individual cursors instead of having to change the entire theme at once, like in Windows (which I will try to screenshot and send in the next message)

Changing per-cursor theme in Windows
Comment 2 Nate Graham 2022-01-23 05:57:28 UTC
This isn't easily possible due to the way cursor themes and the theming system work, and even if it was, it likely would not be desirable.

You can always edit a cursor theme manually to achieve this, but be warned that it will be a difficult task and the result will be fragile.
