This program is the only program that can be shown in Do Not Disturb mode (all programs should default to false unless changed by the user, unless this was a security feature) Operating System: KDE neon 5.23 KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.13.0-27-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11
Spectacle uses notifications to show the result when invoking it via specific shortcuts. Since that is in direct response to user interaction it make sense to show it regardless of DnD
Fair enough. When I switch on DnD, I don't expect to see any notifications unless I've manually allowed them through. It's the notifications themselves which are distracting. I don't think any program should get to override that otherwise it breaks the idea of DnD. Just thought it might be a setting someone forgot to switch off as Spectacle is the only one that has it enabled.
