SUMMARY
When enabling font preview in settings, nothing is shown (probably related to that kfontview can't open any font files).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable font preview in dolphin settings
2. open a folder with font files in it
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
no preview of the font

preview works
