SUMMARY

In you unlock the places pane, you can drag and drop it to move it to a different side. However, in the Neon beta this doesn't work as expected:

1) The dragged places pane moves to the center and stays there fixed, releasing let's it move back to its original position
2) It shows a titlebar and its title reads "&Places" with an et

Can confirm on 5.24.3 Wayland on Arch.
I added a video of the bug, too.

This now works in Qt6/KF6 builds of Dolphin.

The recently introduced frameless view introduced a different issue related to dragging the panels though: Bug 476877
