SUMMARY

In Kdenlive 21.12.1 I tried to extract some frames from mp4 video. It happened nothing - No output png file was created. No error message.
In the same version of Kdenlive on Linux Mint this function works OK. 

Proxy clips where under both OSs off. I tested also the same mp4 input file under both OSs. I also used  step by step the same operating  sequence.

Thank you for reporting. Confirmed. Extract frame will be fixed in version 21.12.2.
