Description mgolden 2022-01-16 20:17:30 UTC
SUMMARY

The physical constants in the scienceconstants.xml file are out of date. Since 2019 the SI units have been redefined and some of the measured values in the file are now exact. Others are still measured but have improved values.

I have created a new version of that file and created a pull request for it.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Look at most of the values in the Constants dropdown, compare with wikipedia.
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT

They don't match.

EXPECTED RESULT

They should match.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: 21.08.1
(available in About System)

KDE Frameworks Version:

Seems to be fixed in Git Commit 237c35f98cb4cfb2a69a959f890454824bc90df5 by Mitch Golden,
so I'll just go ahead and set this to resolved.
