Description Arthur Bols 2022-01-16 16:24:04 UTC
SUMMARY
When switching tasks using Alt+Tab with the "Thumbnail Grid" visualization (wait a bit until the visualization pops up) to a fullscreen application, the visualization doesn't go completely away until something changes on the screen (try scrolling). It only fades a bit.

This does not occur with the "breeze" visualization.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set Task Switcher visualization to "Thumbnail Grid"
2. Open an application as fullscreen (for example okular)
3. Switch to a different application
4. Try switching to the fullscreen application. Only release alt-tab when the visualization is completely shown.

OBSERVED RESULT
Visualization doesn't go away completely.

EXPECTED RESULT
Visualization goes away

Comment 1 Nate Graham 2022-01-21 00:48:51 UTC
Hmm, works for me on Fedora 35, albeit with everything KDE built from source on top of it.

Does it happen with any other task Switchers, or just that one? Is it 100% reproducible for you, or does it only sometimes happen?
Comment 2 Arthur Bols 2022-01-22 20:16:55 UTC
I can reproduce it with all switchers except for "breeze" and "fedora". I tried to test it with different applications, and I thought I could reproduce it with firefox, but currently it only occurs with okular, but consistently (100% of the time).
