Description Patrick Silva 2022-01-15 23:30:21 UTC
SUMMARY
I have the following apps installed with .deb packages:
Opera browser
Strawberry music player
Tixati torrent client
Discord

Search with Discover does not find any of them, not even in 'Installed' page.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install an app with .deb package (not tested with .rpm package)
2. open discover and search for the app installed in the step 1
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
the app installed in the step 1 is not found (Discover only finds flatpak and snap versions eventually available)

EXPECTED RESULT
Discover should find apps installed locally, so we can uninstall it if we want

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.91.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3
Graphics Platform: Wayland
