Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 21.21.1 to see if there are any packaging issues https://kdenlive.org/en/download/

Sorry for not reading correctly.
Please delete ~/.config/kdenlive-appimagerc and try again.

If this isn't solving the problem try with the master: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage_Build/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/

or the new craft build: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Stable_appimage-centos7/

A lot has happened with Kdenlive.
Does this bug still exist in the current version 23.08.x?
