I try to copy text from kate to eclipse. But using Wayland, eclipse did not receive and did not insert the copied text. Insert text in other applications like Libreoffice works.
Doing this under X11, everything works as expected

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. login under Wayland, open eclipse and kate
2. select text in kate and copy them to clipboard
3. open a file in eclipse and paste text

OBSERVED RESULT
nothing happens

EXPECTED RESULT
insert text

Plasma 5.24 includes a *ton* of clipboard fixes. Can you see if this still happens to you with the Plasma 5.24 beta, or the final release in a few weeks?

update to Plasma 5.24 did not change the behavior. copy and paste did not work in both directions.

now plasma-desktop 5.24.3 is installed, the behavior stays the same. also copying text from okular to eclipse did not work

Copying from Eclipse to other programs doesn't work for me either.
Tested on Plasma 5.25 beta
