SUMMARY Okular is unable to print to a LAN printer and stops with the message "rendering complete" when the print queue window is opened. The following message is displayed in the print queue window of the server PC (printer attached to this PC): "Bad value (0) for orientation-requested, using 0 degrees" If the same file is opened in Libre Office Draw it prints correctly. Printing internet pages likewise are printed correctly. I have re-installed Okular. The file will print from the PC to which the printer is attached by USB cable. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open PDF file with Okular 2. select print 3. OBSERVED RESULT As detailed above, nothing prints. EXPECTED RESULT That the file would be printed SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Kubuntu 21.10 KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.13.0-25-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080/PCIe/SSE2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The same problem exists with Gwenview and Kate.
I think I have seen this error message as well, but I can't reproduce it now. As a workaround: Does printing work if you enable "force rasterization"?
