Currently, the setting is define to "low" and this can disrupt the workflow. This will also helps in heavy programs, when you need to do something else while you wait for the program to load.
The higher the level, the more disruption is actually caused by legitimate focus changes. That's why it's a setting rather than a hardcoded thing; which level works best depends heavily on the person and which apps they use and how broken those apps' focus behaviors are. So if you find that Medium works better for you personally, feel free to use it. But we can't change the setting to anything less conservative, sorry.
No problem ^^ I didn't know it would have such implications. This bug report was inspired by the recent change of the "Window placement" option from "Minimal overlapping" to "Centered".
