When you create the appointment in step 1, which calendar do you create it in? What sort of calendar is it -- local file, Nextcloud, ... ?

My personal calendar based on the local file std.ics from the
installation.

bnko> What sort of calendar is it -- local file, Nextcloud, ... ?
local file

After a bunch of updates via my package management system, my KOrganizer now has version 5.21.3 (22.08.3).
And this bug still exists.

Some additional information:
the complete error message is a mix of English and German:
What I see is: "Fehler beim Erstellen des Kalendereintrags. Die Fehlermeldung lautet: Invalid parent collection"
So I switched my language to British English and got:
"Error while trying to create calendar item. Error was: Invalid parent collection"
