Description ratijas 2022-01-13 18:42:03 UTC
SUMMARY

Dolphin allows pasting images from a clipboard into current directory. Plasma's folder view applet (which is the base of the desktop containment) does not allow it.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Copy an image (e.g. make a screenshot with Spectacle and press Ctrl+C).
2. Focus (click) on Plasma desktop.
3. Press Ctrl+V or open context menu and select Paste (the menu item should change to Paste Clipboard Content).

OBSERVED RESULT

Paste Clipboard Content action is disabled, Ctrl+V doesn't work.

EXPECTED RESULT

Plasma should allow pasting images on the desktop containment, or any other folder view for that matter.
