SUMMARY Dolphin regenerates local thumbnails for videos etc. on hard drives connected via usb or sata that are not the drive with the operating system installed everytime the directory is being viewed. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. connect a new hard drive via sata 2. go to a folder on that hard drive that contains a lot of video files, let it generate the thumbnails for the first time 3. close dolphin and repeat step 2 OBSERVED RESULT The thumbnails are being regenerated everytime which causes loud cpu noise and high usage for that time EXPECTED RESULT thumbnails should be loaded from cache SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Arch Linux [Linux tyrus 5.15.13-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed, 05 Jan 2022 16:20:59 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux] KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
