SUMMARY
Strange settings search behavior


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Use settings search bar to look for something (cursor)
2. Click into one of the menu options available (cursors option)
3. Click the back button to return to search bar (labeled "< Appearance")
4. Delete the stuff in the search bar

OBSERVED RESULT
I'm taken back to the menu I just searched for

EXPECTED RESULT
I'm not taken anywhere
