SUMMARY *** Rename on my RasPi 4 with Raspberry Pi Os 10.11 (based on Debian) does not work at all. Neighter with <F2> key nor right click-> rename. It opens the Rename window and I can edit a new name but the rename will not really finish and file/dir has still there old name. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. create a simple file "bla" 2. Select the file and press F2 or use right click and rename in pop-down-menu or use menu file->rename 3. Rename file and press ok 4. File still have the old name 5. Press F5 for refresh will also not shown a new filename and a terminal ls shows the same so it's not a refresh display problem. 6. rename by use mv bla blupp renames the file and refreshes the doplhin window so new filename is shown. No Errors are shown. On console started dolphin also no message is shown at rename was done. EXPECTED RESULT File/Dir should rename to the new name. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Raspberry Pi Os 10.11 with started (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: not installed KDE Frameworks Version: ??? Qt Version: 5.11.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I'm using dolphin as replacement for the default browser on my RasPi without whole kde installation.
Doplhin version is 18.08.0
Sorry, I can't replicate the behavior, although admittedly I'm using the a full on Plasma desktop distro with the pre-installed Dolphin (version 21.12.3) and not a Raspberry Pi. Perhaps it's an issue of some missing dependency or error in how it's packaged, or it's just being weird on ARM architectures. I'm unfortunately not in a position to test either. If it's been resolved, please update this. If not, then I hope someone else will be able to help and figure it out. :^)
