Is there any way to get a right click description that comes up when you are searching through the filters and effects section(s) so that there's a better idea as to what the name of the filter/effect actually does? If yes, then could you include a clickable link to the documentation if further information is required? Reason: There are a whole bunch of filters and effects but one has to open up the filter section any time one wants to know what filter/effect does what.
Click in effect window top right the "i" icon and you see more information about the effect. Click in the effect window on the "film strip" icon or the "audio" icon then you see the folder structure to which type of effect the filter belongs to. A link to more documentation would be nice. We have just recently moved the documentation to a new place. Maybe in future it would be possible to link direct to the documentation. https://docs.kdenlive.org/de/index.html.

That helps a lot. > Click in the effect window on the "film strip" icon or the "audio" icon then > you see the folder structure to which type of effect the filter belongs to. That would be truly helpful, especially to those of us who jump into software and like to learn as we go. Thanks for considering it.
We could implement a link to the documentation or add more info for each effect by holding shift (https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/1528).
Created attachment 176266 [details] Effect_link to documentation With upcoming version 24.12 each effect has a direct link to the documentation. Either from the effect tab (when description is enabled) or from the Effect/Composition stack.
