i installed kde connect app on windows 8 and installed on the phone . when i tried to pair, the apps got paired but instantly they do not show in the active or discovered page. they get removed

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  install kde connect on android and windows
2.  pair
3.  paired devices are gone

OBSERVED RESULT
after pairing is succesful, the devices vanish from one another

EXPECTED RESULT
after pairing, devices should continue to show in one another so that any operations can be done

It seems that the KDE connect daemon crashes.
Open system events and check if there's crash reports. Right-click on start button → event viewer → Windows logs → Application.
