Description mp-kdenlivefreakingbugtrack 2022-01-01 00:43:11 UTC
SUMMARY
If you have added a clip already, and try to change the project settings, you receive a warning that doing so may cause some corruption in transitions, and asked if you are sure you wish to proceed. If you answer yes, it is recommended that you save your changes first, and you are asked if you wish to do so. At this point I have already answered that YES I wish to proceed. If I answer "No" to the save prompt, I am telling the software that I do wish to proceed but I wish to accept the risk of doing so without saving my changes. Instead, the entire operation is cancelled.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Import a clip.
2. Attempt to change the project profile
3. Answer 'yes' to the "wish to proceed" question
4. Answer 'no' to the "wish to save" question

OBSERVED RESULT
Project profile is not changed

EXPECTED RESULT
Project profile is changed, albeit with a risk of corrupted transitions.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: - - problem exists in debian linux (Jessie) also.
