SUMMARY *** I have complementary 24 / 48 WAV downloads which come with the CD edition (Berlin Phil Orchestra in-house release). Various ways to down-sample to 16 /44.1 make K3B think the project is 24 GB in size. *** I tried ffmped, sox, Audacity and K3B's own Converter function to convert 24 Bit 48 Khz WAV files to either 16/44.1 or mp3 files, so that K3B can burn an AudioCD from that. No matter which approach, K3B thinks the project is 24 GB, even though it really is only several hundred MB. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. For Sox, I did: sox file.wav -b 16 file-2.wav 2. Audacity: Import, switched to 44100, Export as WAV, files come out small, but K3B thinks the project is 25 GB. 3. K3B own Converter function convert to WAV and mp3, but same result. OBSERVED RESULT When dragging converted files in to project window, project is always shown to be 24 of 40 GB - says it does not fit on CDR media. EXPECTED RESULT It should recognize the files for what they are and burn them as AudioCD. Those 24GB has nothing to do with the current project you're creating, it's the free hard disk space you have.
omg... the download has 84 min, it is longer than the CD... do you issue free idiot NFTs :)
