SUMMARY At first log in, such usual actions as changing monitor brightness or zooming in (KWin effect), consistently crashes the whole X11 session, which in turn throws back to the SDDM greeting screen. Starting from second log in onward, sessions won't crash again until reboot. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Reboot the computer. 2. Log in into Plasma/X11 session 3. Change brightness via keyboard (special brightness keys), or zoom in (Meta++) OBSERVED RESULT Xorg crashes, bringing down the whole Plasma session as well as all and any running applications EXPECTED RESULT Shtability.
