Description Arnaud 2021-12-29 20:32:42 UTC
SUMMARY

When trying to scroll the dashboard using a touchscreen, it works only when grabbing an empty space. If there is an application icon under the finger, it will not work. Bug occurs on Wayland and X11.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the application dashboard
2. Open the "All Apps" category
3. Try to scroll by starting the gesture on an app icon

OBSERVED RESULT

On Wayland, item under the finger starting the scroll motion gets highlighted, then the dashboard closes. On X11, it starts a drag and drop action with the item under the finger.

EXPECTED RESULT

User should be able to scroll the view using the finger.
