SUMMARY *** Muon fails to uninstall, even to mark as "Installed (auto-removable)" dependencies of an app which was just installed a couple of minutes ago and then is being uninstalled in Muon although those dependencies were installed at the same time as that application being uninstalled now. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE, AND OBSERVED RESULT 1. Start Muon Package Manager and install "transcriber" and make a note of dependencies to be also installed, e.g. libtcl8.6, libtk8.6, tcl, tcl8.6, tk, tk8.6 etc. 2. Quit Muon Package Manager, restart it, uninstall "transcriber" and making note of any dependencies which may also be uninstalled automatically at this stage. 3. Select the "Status" at the bottom of the sidebar, and then "Installed (auto-removable)" to list any other dependencies that can/should be installed after "transcriber" has been uninstalled, which doesn't include some of the dependencies installed with "transcriber" such as tcl8.6, tcl, tk8.6, tk etc. EXPECTED RESULT Muon should automatically uninstall or at least mark as "Installed (auto-removable)" all dependencies of an app when it is being uninstalled if no other app or package was installed in between also requiring those dependencies. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 5.23 KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.89.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3
It seems we can consider Muon dead, and close this bug now.
